Histories of the Martin, Wilson, Bloom, & Ahola Families
Morse, Mille (Millie)
1793 - 1872 (78 years)-
Name Morse, Mille (Millie) - Mille is the spelling on her gravestone, in one of her husband Isaac's letters to his parents, and in her father's will. Millie was used in most records.
Birth 22 Aug 1793 Kent, Connecticut, USA Gender Female Residence 1830 Mayfield, Fulton, New York, USA [1] Mayfield was in Montgomery County in 1830. Death 20 Jun 1872 Grass Lake, Jackson, Michigan [2] - Millie's death record identified her parents as Peter Morse and Hannah Morse and her birthplace as Conn.

Family Orsborn (Osborn), Isaac Jr., b. 16 Sep 1792, Winslow, Lincoln, Maine d. 11 Jan 1874, Grass Lake, Jackson, Michigan (Age 81 years) Marriage 23 Nov 1815 Halfmoon, Saratoga, New York, USA [4] - Marriage place is inferred; Mille's father was living in Halfmoon at the time of her marriage.
- The Morse Genealogy says "they settled in Gloucesterville, N. Y.". Glousterville is doubtless a mis-transcription of Gloversville, the largest town near Mayfield where they lived. [4]
Notes - The following is in the brief Osborn genealogy in the History of St. Albans, Maine:
"Isaac Jr., born Sept 15, 1792; m. Millie Saliner (last name indistinct in records)."
I have found no other record of this marriage, and this record probably refers to Mille Morse. [5]
