Keeler, John Gridley headstone. In view of the very small size of the graveyard and the fact that Gridley Keeler was among those who purchased the land for the graveyard, the small stones inscribed J.K. and S.K. undoubtedly had once marked the graves of John Gridley Keeler and Sally Fancher Keeler. In Dec, 2013, these stones were sitting on the surface of the ground near the center of the graveyard and may no longer have been near the actual graves. |
