Named in the will were the Widow Denyse who was owed the balance of a $1000 bond. Catherine made the following bequests: her pew in the North Dutch Church in New York City to the children of John I Labagh; all her clothes and wearing apparel to the children of Catherine Knapp McCleary, daughter of David McCleary; her bed and bedclothes to Margaret Carpenter, her silver watch to Hugh Smith Carpenter (son of Margaret), the residue of her estate to the brothers and sisters of her husband Benjamin S. Knapp, namely David Knapp, Samuel Knapp, and Solomon Knapp, Susan the wife of Francis Gurnee, and Rachel the wife of Jacob Parsells. In the probate papers, her executor said that Catherine left no surviving kin or heirs at law, and gave the names of three cousins of Catherine: Elizabeth Lindsay of the City of New York, widow, Peter Labagh and Magdalen Labagh of some part of the state of New Jersey.Death Mar 1842 Brooklyn, New York, USA - She died in Town of New Utrecht which became part of Brooklyn.

The will bequeaths the residual of Catherine's estate after all other directives and bequests have been fulfilled to the brothers and sisters of Catherine's late husband Benjamin S. Knapp, namely, David, Samuel and Solomon Knapp and Susan the wife of Francis Gurnee and Rachel the wife of Jacob Persells.
